The programmes are developed by our Principal Tutors – Mr Yang Iskandar and Cikgu Hayati Abdullah (Malay Language Programmes). BENGKEL PERSIAPAN PSLE – KARANGAN
This 6 hours workshop aims to build students’ confidence and mastery in PSLE Malay Karangan (Paper 1 component). Students would explore proven strategies to write a great composition based on Cikgu Hayati Abdullah’s best-selling book and programme – Saya Boleh Mengarang. These include strategies to plan, expand and organize ideas and the usage of powerful words, vocabulary and sentence structures.
BENGKEL PERSIAPAN PSLE – KERTAS 2
This workshop prepares students to score in the Paper 2 component of PSLE Malay Language paper. It covers the major components such as grammar, peribahasa, imbuhan, vocabulary, frasa and comprehension (objective, subjective and graphic-stimulus).
PSLE CHALLENGING MATHS INTENSIVE REVISION WORKSHOP
This ultimate 2 days x 3 hours intensive programme equips Primary 6 pupils with intermediate and advance strategies to solve challenging and non-routine questions that commonly appear in the Paper 2 of PSLE Mathematics. Topics that would be covered:
Numbers and Fractions / Ratio and Percentage / Measurement / Geometry and 4-sided Figures & Speed
PSLE SCIENCE ANCHOR CONCEPTS REVISION WORKSHOP
The PSLE Science Anchor Concepts Revision Workshop is a highly popular 2 days x 3 hours programme to equip students with the Process Skills and Answering Strategies to score in PSLE Science. Students would be taught strategies on how to apply concepts and process skills to challenging higher-order problems and to answer the Open-Ended questions in Section B with confidence and precision.
Day 1 : Topics in Physical Sciences (i.e. Forces, energy conversion, electricity, water, matter, magnets, heat, light etc)
Day 2 : Topics in Life Sciences (i.e. adaptions, webs of life, photosynthesis, plant reproduction, human system, plant transport system, cells, life cycle etc)
PSLE ENGLISH WRITING WORKSHOP
The Writing Workshop aims to develop students’ writing ability to produce a short functional piece (e.g. letter, email, report) to suit the purpose, audience and context of a given situation. It focuses on enhancing students’ writing ability to write a composition in continuous prose on a given topic. These include techniques to make the writing engaging, interesting, and relevant.
PSLE ENGLISH COMPREHENSION WORKSHOP
his workshop aims to enhance comprehension skills, critical thinking, and language proficiency. The workshop covers a range of comprehension strategies tailored to PSLE standards. Students will learn how to analyse and interpret various text types effectively, such as narratives, expository essays, and news articles, enabling them to practice identifying key ideas, making inferences, and answering comprehension questions accurately.
Students will delve into understanding vocabulary in context, developing inference skills, and recognizing literary devices to foster a deeper appreciation for reading.
